Automation and modernization for demanding equipment

Mining, mineral handling and bulk-material processes place unusual demands on machinery: dust, vibration, heavy loads, long conveyor routes, difficult access and costly downtime. Control modifications therefore need to prioritize robust operation, diagnostics and maintainability.

Typical engineering areas

Conveyors & material handling

Sequence control, permissives, blocked-chute signals, belt monitoring, drives and controlled start/stop logic.

Crushers & processing equipment

Control-system upgrades, sensor integration, interlocks and interface modernization around existing machinery.

Drives & motors

VFD integration, motor control, speed references, feedback, fault diagnostics and coordinated starts.

PLC/HMI retrofit

Replace obsolete control hardware, improve diagnostics and retain the useful mechanical asset where practical.

Field instrumentation

Integrate level, position, speed, pressure, temperature and condition signals into control logic.

Remote diagnostics

Design clearer alarms, event information and status visibility to shorten troubleshooting time.

Retrofit rather than unnecessary replacement

A complete machine replacement is not always the best engineering or commercial option. Where the mechanical structure remains serviceable, a targeted controls, drive, instrumentation or electrical retrofit can extend useful life and improve supportability. Each project should be assessed individually against safety, condition, spare-parts availability and production requirements.

Send the machine, process or project information you already have. Drawings, photos, PLC/HMI details, I/O lists and shutdown constraints are useful where available.
